Pemuteran bay in north bali offers a variety of dive sites. Pemuteran is particularly well known for the coral reef project that was started here which consists of 3 sites. But it also offers some interesting wall dives. There are some shore dives, but the majority of dives are done by boat. The current is very moderate in this part of the island and is therefore ideal for easy and relaxing dives.

At Pemutaran bay a community-driven reef restoration and conservation project started in 2000 that has changed not only the reef itself, but also the attitudes, livelihoods and economy of the entire region.
