The northeastern shore levels out to an area of undulating flat-lands lined by superb golden sand beaches with two tiny offshore islands that give the area its name of Nusa Dua. Nusa Dua and adjacent Tanjung Benoa offers many international hotels, good beaches and water sports facilities.
This area also includes the "Bukit", the hill south of Jimbaran beach (with the famous Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton resorts) which offers spectacular views and usually enjoys sunny days even when it's raining in other parts of Bali. The Bukit, is a high limestone plateau. Pura Uluwatu is one of Bali’s major temples famous. Areas are close to one of the island's best golf courses and give easy access to many shops and restaurants. There is not much night life in these areas.
